In 2010, after leading companies for over 25-years, Randy left his position as CEO of Symetra Financial and formed Talbot Financial, LLC to invest assets for his own family. He has grown the firm by providing wealth management services to other families.

Randy served as President of Safeco Life beginning in 1998 and led the management team through a divestiture from Safeco Corporation in 2004. He helped raise over $1.3 billion of equity and debt to sell the company to an investor group and reemerged as Symetra Financial, an independent life insurance company. After successfully navigating the financial crisis and significantly growing the company, he led Symetra Financial through its IPO and rang the opening bell at the NYSE on January 21, 2010.

Randy now puts his energy and insight to work building a wealth management firm by investing from the perspective of a CEO.
